Carry water /food during travel.The way from Mumbai does not have many eateries coz its highway throughout.Once you enter from the main highway into the rural patch,you cant find any food/water.Its just road.

There are various trains from Mumbai & Ahmedabad/Vadodara/Surat that halts at dahanu Station. Its just 2hrs from Mumbai, on the way to Gujarat. From Dahanu Station, you can take a private rickshaw for Rs.50 to Dahanu beach or shared auto for Rs.10 per person. You can carry some veg food if you are pure vegetarian or you can come back to Dahanu Station for restaurants. Carry your sun glasses & some woolen clothes as it was cold in Jan.
