Ranchi is well connected by bus, train and air with all parts of the country. If you want to go by your own vehicle then be careful when you drive within the city. The city is highly populated with vehicles and roads are not at all broad.

ranchi is connected by Air from Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkatta. It has a railway station which is well connected from rest of the country. It lacs basic public transport facility and that can can heavy toll on your purse if you do not have your own vehicle. be careful while travelling out side the city.

The station is within the city and is just 10 mins from the main road. Auto rickshaws and private cars arte available, but no cabs. If ou can get hold of a two wheeler, you are a king !!!!
