I have been a regular visitor at Fariyas Resort in Lonavala. I prefer taking a cab since it avoids the hassle of driving on the route which is crowded on weekends.

I looked up online for "Mumbai to Lonavala Taxi One way" since I wanted to travel on friday and return on sunday, and I came across multiple websites. The intercity cab business in India is improving quickly, as on earlier trips I have chosen to travel by my own car since cabs used to be too expensive. I compared fares on various websites and I chose to use onesidetaxi, since their website looked really professional and they were offering me the best fare.

Just like their website, their booking process was also extremely professional and I did not have to call them even once to confirm the booking. It was a hassle free process on their website and I received an instant confirmation from them. They even sent me the driver's details in time so as to enable me to communicate with him.

I had only requested a regular sedan, however, I was pleasantly surprised by the free upgrade to a corolla altis. The driver was extremely friendly, and the car had an excellent music system with bluetooth music as well as GPS navigation.

I had an excellent trip and I would recommend onesidetaxi to all holidayiq travellers.

In the early morning nearby 5. 30 Am. We left our house and move towards our LONAVALA journey to feel the heaven on earth scenario in rainy season. I was driving my Maruti Swift VLX white with my family and it was wonderful experience to drive with your beloved family for such an wonderful journey. Everyone feels happy and excited for the trip and the road condition is tremendous. I feel so excited in an smooth and straight road while in the morning and that too without any disturbance like facing traffic, or driving roads which was worst in condition everything was like welcomes us to feel the beauty of journey.

All over dhabas, restaurants, and refreshment arrangement on highway that was incredible, every where all facilities we get and feel no trouble for anything. Just while travelling some important things to carry are 1. Driving license with all necessary document 2. Less cash cum debit card keep ready in pocket. 3. Have some useful aid box or some useful tablets which if anyone regularly have it 4. Follow the traffic rules and all useful tips while driving 5. Never overtake while driving on Express-highway raod 6. Keep speed limit 80 7. Give proper indication while turning your car left-right for others 8. Safe drive means safe n happy journey. MAKE YOUR JOURNEY MOST MEMORABLE by keeping such important things in your mind.

We drove from Goregaon, Mumbai to Karla, Lonavala via the Mumbai Pune Expressway & as always, it was a smooth drive. While going, we used the SCLR from Kalina & on the way back we cut off from Thane using the Thane Belapur Road & Airoli Bridge to reach the Eastern Express Highway & then took the JVLR to reach the Western Express Highway at Jogeshwari. After the Khalapur Toll Plaza at Khopoli, we stopped for Breakfast at the Dosa Plaza in the Food Court & had tasty Upma, Sheera & Filter Coffee. We left the Expressway at the second Lonavala Exit to go straight to the MTDC Resort at Karla. The expressway has indeed made a great change both in terms of driving pleasure as well as saving of time & it is indeed a real boon.

Well, to begin with the destination is Tungi, which is about 12 kms from Lonavala, we are members of Club Mahindra. The drive, overall was smooth, but for the horrendous stretch of about 6 kms, from the resort. We ( A family of 6 members with 2 kids) left on 24th December and spent three nights there. A serene and laid back locale with all the trappings of a holiday resort( swimming pool/library/sports facility/ after sundown entertainment etc/ good food served in a well-stocked restaurant)

This place is a good getaway from Mumbai and in view of its proximity to Mumbai and the ease of travel thro the Pune expressway combines all the features of a relaxed and fun-filled holidays. More significantly, there is exclusivity/ a lovely lake( Pawna) and is cut off from the humdrum of Lonavala.

The train journey offers exciting and natural view of the Shayadri Ranges with waterfalls along the route. There are several tunnels along the route through which the train passes, truly an engineering marvel. Everyone should travel and experience the train journey as it is the safest mode of communication.
