The journey was quite comfortable as the seats were really good. The entertainment through TV was also available and the sound was very moderate so that it does not disturb others. As soon as the film was over, the TV was also switched off so that we could sleep peacefully.
Bus started at perfect time from Madurai. But I reached Perungulatur around 10. 30, almost 4 hrs late. Every 2 hours they halt in motels. Then air condition is not working properly. Worst experience forever. Ticketgoose site is very useful site compare with other. My point of view National Travels is not preferable.
During winter, I prefer traveling in Non-A/c bus, but this time I had to travel uncertain and booked a Non-AC in Parveen Travels (Corona). The bus is simply superb with comfortable leg space and illumination was perfect.
The push back seat was good and it gave ample space to accommodate and hand-rest for individuals. TV was ON till everyone got to sleep and they turned Off, but not disturbing the elders that is so good of them.
The attendants were caring and sweet in their words. Helped each passenger to board off the bus and it reached the destination on time, Overall, experience was excellent !!!!
Had an worst experience with Sri Balaji Travels. Seat quality is very poor. It was started by an hour delay. All major transports from Madurai takes 7 hrs of journey to reach Chennai. This bus took more than 9 hours. And fumes started coming from the back wheel before 1 hr journey to Chennai. They have stopped for 15 min and restarted again.
Because of this initial delays, bus entered very late into the city outskirts, so they have skipped major stops and went through by pass roads.
All are good and punctual. Quality of the bus is very good. Comfort journey. Overall, value for money. It's semi sleeper bus with fan in every seat. LED TV, good speaker system. Bucket seat, non stop bus. On time. Takes only 7 hours to travel from Madurai to Chennai. Try it and enjoy it.
