We took bus from Madurai Bus Stop to Kanyakumari. We dont have any reservation to Kanyakumari. But lucky enough to get a semi sleeper bus operated by Tamilnadu road transport. Bus was okay and it started at 10:30 pm. We reached Kanyakumari by 4 am. I thought I was going to miss the sunrise. But thankful to the driver who reached the destination on time.
We took an AC coach to travel from Madurai to Kanya kumari. This made our journey comfortable and free from tiredness. And something to say about SRM Travels we were so much impressed with the travels. They were punctual enough and the bus was with superior quality and luxurious too. Nice four lane highway roads if you choose NH7. Takek a round trip to cover Thirunelveli (Nellaiappar Temple, Lala Mittai Kadai Halwa) and Tiruchendur (Sea shore temple of Lord Muruga). Roads are not great near Tiruchendur. You can have a good view of the wind mills on the way to Kanyakumari.
