It was a wonderful journey I had with SRS. The destiny places suggested by holidayiq was one of the best what I had till now. I enjoyed a lot with many places in Mysore especially like palace, zoo, hill and rooms for staying was wonderful made by holidayiq.
The service provided by the KSRTC ( Airavat) good and Comfortable. The bus is fully air conditioned. The semi-recliner seats were in good condition and we were provided with water and blankets. The Service provided by KSRTC is very good. The Sleeper and Semi sleeper is also a good option.
Very good road and good facilities on the way. Comfortable journey. No hold ups on the way. Visited Madikeri and Tibetan Temple and Nature Park on the way. Good stay in Mysore for three days. Visited all important places of Mysore. Shopping is done for Mysore silk sarees. Returned via Nagarahole National Park.
As my neighbor Pascal has a taxi (Tata Sumo), we decided to travel to Mysore in his taxi. The best part in this mode of travel was the option of deferred payment. We have absolutely no regrets in taking a Tata Sumo vehicle for a family of just five including three children. It was worth it and very invigorating.
It was a pleasant journey covering nice locales. The brief stopover at Madikeri was refreshing where I tried some local Kodava cuisine. And I also bought some spices and coffee. And then I reached Mysore by late evening to see the palace in all lit up splendor. Thanks to the KSRTC crew for the lovely road journey. It was comfortable and smooth. I had a great time indeed.
