Travel to Sasan Gir by Air at Rajkot Air Port or Ahmedabad Air Port. By Train, you can travel from Ahmedabad to Junagadh/ Veraval. You can also travel from Ahmedabad to sasan gir (400 Kmts. Approx) and from Rajkot (250 Kmts.Approx) by road in privately hired personal vehicle or local operated Government operated State Transport Buses or Private Luxury Buses. The best travel season is from July to December (mostly up to October end).Please carry with you Sports shoes, a walking stick, Jeans or Heavy cotton pants or trousers, T-Shirts, Open Shirts, shawls, or Wind Cheaters, or Leather Jackets to bit the cold in forests. Many hotels arrange fire camps in the evening or night in the hotel compounds for enjoyment. Please also carry with you a Torch, Camera, first aid box, etc. WARNING: Please do not carry with you musical instruments or mobiles or Iphons with you which can be played with loud music in the forest areas. The camara to be used should be Flash free for use in the forest areas.
