Jet Airways was good. The flight was not too crowded as I felt since I was provided a seat with extra leg space (Emergency Seat) by the Jet Airways staff after seeing my height (6' 2'). The journey included food which according to the flight timing was provided as breakfast. I took a flight at around 6 am in the morning. Breakfast consisted of Uttampam, Vada-Sambar and a fruit bowl (consisting of 5 pieces of papaya and 2 pieces of watermelon). The flight was not too enjoyable but was simply okay.
My beloved spouse and I (who is no more in this world) was travelling from Kolhapur to Bangalore by 2nd AC on 28th December 2010 by afternoon train. Our hotel was near to Kolhapur Rly. Station, there was no question or hurdle to reach station. While travelling in the train my spouse got fever in the night and I was disturbed. I was carrying Crocin tablet with me which I gave her one tablet along with train canteen veg soup. She didn't had food that night and I was very concerned about her health because we were on our honeymoon. It was a very nice service provided by the train. They also enquired about medical help if we required but I said that there was nothing serious. It's a just fever, and if it is anything I will let them know. They gave us warm blanket to us and we were reached Bangalore Station in the morning at 07.00 am safely and healthy. My spouse felt well in the morning and I can never forgot that journey in my entire lifetime.
This was an impulsive last minute booking and IndiGo had the best rates. Other than that IndiGo also has one of the best all round service in the Indian domestic airline industry. Flight was on time departure and arrival. In-flight service was good and comfortable.
It was a pleasant one and as per their reputation. Good aircraft and support staff. The transfer from aircraft to the gate was good. Flight was on time and the on-board shopping item list was also good and one could spot some very useful travel accessories. Overall a very good experience.
