We've been flying Jet Airways for a number of years, both international and domestic (India) routes. I can honestly say that we've never had a bad experience in terms of service. Staff is always friendly and seem genuinely pleased to be of assistance; they are certainly not surly like many other airline attendants. It is the small touches that makes flights on Jet Airways memorable. Hand lotions in the economy class bathrooms, toilets equipped with bidets, an extensive selection of vegetarian menus (oriental, Jain, Hindu, vegan, etc.), art-house and hard-to-find movies on the entertainment system. If Jet Airways was part of Star Alliance, it would always be one of my first choices.

Nothing great to write about, the same usual treatment of Jet Airways with an attitude of indifference to their guests when boarding & alighting. They seem to even forget to wish us nor do they acknowledge when we do. Wonder, should I be expecting more! The meal is not even fresh. Only grace was the the flight took off on time and were on schedule. Oh! Forgot to mention the plus point here though. Their ground staff at Mumbai airport is par excellence, just love interacting with them. Ever helpful and gracious. But if you speak about travel experience, then it is time the airlines did something about it before they start losing their customers. I do love travelling by Jet among all other domestic airlines but they seem to disappoint me more and more as I travel. Do something, Jet and very soon!!!

Due to negative publicity, people generally avoid travelling by Air India. I have found it to be okay. For a start there is not much difference of service between Air India and Jet Airways or other LCC. Average age of AI cabin crew may be higher than others, but service is practically same. There is better comfort level because of higher pitch between seats. Sadly, most of AI flights go empty possibly also because tickets are always priced higher than Jet Airway, the only other full cost carrier.

The Air India staff aren't keen to help, so carry your own water bottles. Not funny - but they are simply keen to avoid eye contact, and in my case they put off the attendant call light 12+ times. I realised that every time I press the attendant button - someone casually dismisses it by pressing some remote button.

Worth noting - don't bother writing negative / constructive feedback; as a team the Airline staff will chuck it efficiently into a bin!!
