Delhi is located at a distance of 1157 km from Mumbai. Delh is well-connected to Mumbai by air, rail and road.
However, the best way to reach Delhi from Mumbai is by flight. The flight distance from Mumbai to Delhi is 1163 km and it takes around 1 hour 30 minutes. Almost all airlines like Air India, Jet airways, Indigo and SpiceJet operate flights from Mumbai to Delhi throughout the day.
Air India is unequivocally the worst airlines in India at this point. Terrible service, horrible customer care and uncouth and uneducated (or so they sound) customer care employees who turn a deaf ear to our problems. Either they don't understand our issues or they don't have the knowledge to resolve it. I am never travelling by Air India again after by horrible experience with them, not once but twice.
I love the train train journey. Just sit calmly and observe people and their behaviour, excitement and purpose of travelling, chat and find out some short term or may be long term friends with your journey. Enjoy your time by listening to music and watching out from the window. Experience the culture of cities at their railway stations.
It is a nice airline and it provides good service with lot many connectivity from various places. Professionally managed and we started late due to some issues. Food is OK but other services were good enough. Ticket is expensive than other airlines but worthwhile to travel with Jet Airways. They made right announcement time to time and make sure that all guest gets right services.
Best services that I observe. Convenience, and the service in the flight was excellence that give a relaxed and safe journey, at the Airport of Delhi, service is quite good due Metro specially. In the fade to climb down the staircase at that time. We were packed in a bus and sent to the terminal which took some 15 to 20 minutes. I entered the terminal at around 5. 45 am and walked down for security check. Finally at around 6. 30 am, I reached. After the boarding pass check, guess what, we are asked to board a bus again for a 15 min ride to the far end of the airport where they have parked. There was no proper organised zonal boarding as everyone just boarded the flight through the rear door and had to queue a lot before taking the seats inside the flight. In-flight Service - The in-flight service was awful. Their food portions have gone down, I always felt hungry after the meal! Cabin crew don't want to move from their seats at all! If you want something, it is always better to go to the galley rather than wait for anyone.
From Mumbai to Delhi the roads are excellent, but roads near Chittorgarh have a few bumps which just come up and you donít have time to react, so drive safely. Also from Jaipur to Delhi I drove in dense fog for about 150 km. Luckily I followed a Volvo Bus, which was fitted with good fog lamps.
My business partner and I went to new Delhi and...
