Delhi is located at a distance of 1157 km from Mumbai. Delh is well-connected to Mumbai by air, rail and road.
However, the best way to reach Delhi from Mumbai is by flight. The flight distance from Mumbai to Delhi is 1163 km and it takes around 1 hour 30 minutes. Almost all airlines like Air India, Jet airways, Indigo and SpiceJet operate flights from Mumbai to Delhi throughout the day.
Boarding at Terminal 1B is often not the best of experiences. Consistently and over several airlines have noted issues. This Indigo flight was no exception as signages were not in place. The flight itself was good with Indigo's trademark efficiency. I had precooked my meal and opted for Nissin Cup noodles with its ongoing promo. Probably due to the promo the hot water in the flasks while food was being served kept getting depleted seriously impeding the speed of service. The trolley design or way of serving needs improvement to take care of this aspect. These aspects are small but significant
This was an award ticket for us from jet airways. It is a 2 hour flight and many options available throughout the day. 9w 331 9:55 am-12:10 am. Since the flight was not full we managed to get an aisle and window at the back row and had a comfortable journey. We reached early and enjoyed a filling breakfast of yum vada pavs and fruit shakes at shiv sagar at the departure lounge. The security check in was smooth. The in-flight experience was good. The take-off and landing was as per scheduled time. The meals served were ok.
Rajdhani express is one of the my most favourite train, because when I travel in Rajdhani feel like in home only. Inside the train lot of entertainment is there provides quality of food and no stress while travelling. The train reaches early morning to Delhi I prefer this train to travel Delhi. Time saves and memorable journey in this train.
As I am frequent flier, Jet airways is one of the best airlines in India. Normally it is on time and well-connected through out India. Other Airlines are also good specially Indigo, Vistara and Spicejet. The worst is our national carrier Air India.
The flight was excellent and the crew members were friendly. The flight landed 15 mins ahead of time and I will choose Spicejet again in the future. I found the seats comfortable although my much taller partner found them to be cramped (as I hadn't opted to pay extra for the extra leg room).
