Dont take cab or bus from Ranchi.that is very tiresome.if you reach ranchi by train or by air in the morning there is a train from ranchi to lohardaga at 9;30.it will take 90 minutes to get to lohardaga. trains are very punctual at this route. take a auto from lohardaga stn. to lohardaga taxi stand rs.10 per head. take tata sumo vikta or scorpio to drop you at netarhat hotel. sumo will cost you 1600 and scorpio 2000.take the ph. no.of driver and ask you to pick you up again the date of your departure.you can avail bus from lohardaga busstand also. On the way if CRPF guys ask you to show some IDS or search your bags,Co operate with them .Always be polite with the locals and can drivers.

By train to Ranchi or by car to Ranchi. From Ranchi you will get daily bus services to Netarhat. It is 165 kms from from Ranchi to Lohardaga by trekker or jeep. From Lohardaga you will get jeep or hired car. Throughout the journey don't take alcoholic substance and maintain the the peace for better result of the tour.
