Thekkady boat riding, kerala martial arts viewing. 4 hours from thekkady to alleppey. Stay for overnight in house boat in alleppey and return to cochin 3 hours. Shopping in cochin and evening from cochin to bangalore by train.

By car From Munnar to Thekkady it is around 3 to 4 hours ride.Good & Pleasant journy & very Schenic.Only too much turnings were there so who has a notia of Gradient should take the necessary medicine before starting journey.

Nearest airport and train station is Kochi. Periyar is about 180 kms from here and regular private taxis and local buses can take you there in about five hour plus.

Interesting Place
The Kerala Forest Department have made a mess of the process of buying tickets to the Periyar Lake boat ride that one has to literally run 300 metres to be assured of a ticket. Crazy!
