Overall experience at check in counter at Nagpur airport was great. Staff was courteous and smiling. The inflight experience was totally opposite. Crew was grumpy ... From the senior staff to the staff who served us. More training in customer service and more importantly to have a pleasant smile and demeanour to be given to crew members.
Regret to mention this was my WORST EVER trip book through Make My Trip and would swear not to book any flights through it. The reason, I got my flight booked from Nagpur to Mumbai bearing Booking ID: NF22996123616560 Y4SESF)and paid INR 3564. 00 (Inclusive or INR 600 for getting full refund in case of cancellation). The IRONY: Just before few hours of take off, I get a message from GoAir that the flight is rescheduled from 19. 40 to 21. 10. I had a connecting train from Mumbai at 23. 15 to reach Vadodara by Duronto. The delay in flight timing would have resulted in my missing the train. Hence I tried to cancel the ticket on Make My Trip before I could book and take Jet Airways Flight at 17. 20 to Mumbai. The website / call center executives were not available and I had to board the Jet Airways flight to reach home in time. It seems that Make My Trip only want to make money by misleading customers. Thoroughly Irresponsible and disgusting.
While booking ticket & choosing air India flight itself, we were confident the flight will not take off on time and our expectations were highly fulfilled. 920pm flight was rescheduled to 10pm, then 1030pm and finally it took off at 11pm; by the time I reached home it was 2 am. All plans of next day flopped. It's very sad that even though air India is managed directly by government, flight schedule of private air lines are managed better. Surprisingly, even Maharashtra wife was travelling in same flight and was equally frustrated.
The wheel chair passengers took about 40 minutes to come and they were left waiting on the tarmac for 35 minutes in the heat! The ground staff within the airport were clueless as to where the passengers were. The bags and come and all other passengers had left and there was no sign of her. Indigo was more bothered to get the flight going than the convenience of senior citizens! Extremely poor service by Mumbai ground staff!
