Daman can be reached by rail, road or air. 200km from Mumbai and 380Km from Pune, via Vapi it’s a lovely drive because of the well-maintained highways. And if you are a part of a gang and do have adventure in your blood, time to vroom your bikes and hit the road. However if you want to play safe, catch a train and get down at Vapi. There are plenty of auto-rickshaws to ferry you around! If you are travelling by car or bike, start off at around 4 in the morning, and you will reach Daman by 11 (from Pune). Avoid summer!

Diu is 15 Km from Una, 500 Km from Baroda and 800 km from Bombay by road. Travelling by personal car would be the best, many luxury buses run from Mumbai and Ahmedabad
