Agra is located at about 197 km from Delhi. Agra is a city on the banks of the river Yamuna in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh and is well-connected to Delhi by roadways and railways. It feels very comfortable. 3 hrs took to reach Agra from New Delhi. The Yamuna Expressway really rocks the smooth journey. Food facility, washroom facility in between halt was present. Timing of journey was in the morning so felt very fresh and cool.
You can take a blanket while travelling in bus. Can also carry you own food. Camera will really help you capture really very beautiful moments.
It was really very bad experience with Raj Express. Poor sanitary management. Seats were in very poor condition so always choose A/c chair car instead of normal chair car. And be careful about your luggage because in Taj Express passenger comes to travel in huge number.
I dint realise when I reached Agra from Delhi. The best service I got from water to ice cream in just 3 and half hour's journey by train approx. We went early morning and came back the same evening it wasn't too hectic as well. Very courteous and warm people. After reaching Agra don't miss out the Agra ka pedah and lassi near the Tajmal or the Station.
The Expressway from Noida is made brilliantly and is for driving in speed. The scenery is good, road condition very nice and time just fly's by. I would recommend starting early in the morning from Delhi to avoid morning traffic and make good time. Carry something to munch on as there are not many options along the way. But this is the best way to reach Agra from Delhi.
