The travel by Rajdhani was an awesome experience. As the name suggests, its a royal experience. The food was very tasty and hygienic as compared to other trains. And the no of stops are less to which is why the journey proceeds smoothly without any hassle. One of the unique features is that in the morning, the PA system broadcasts news which helps us stay in touch with the outer world. The toilets are also hygienic and cleaned periodically.
Air India is a familiar airline for single lady to travel from India. It is convenient also as you can speak your own language or English in Indian accent. It is always in time when I travel. Air plane was a super new Boeing with good sitting arrangement.
Boarding airport at Baroda is quite good and homely. Via Delhi so Indira gandhi airport I saw first time it is excellent with many restaurants and shops. It is easy to pass time at IGIA eating, relaxing and using smartphone with WiFi. JFK New York is very busy. Airport is so crowded. It takes quite some time to recover your baggage there.
Nobody helps a single lady. Difficult to reach the relative who came to pick me up. Taxis are very very expensive. Most services are complimentary. Food is so so can eat but well attended and staff is well mannered and respecting to me. I think more liquids should be served natural juice, cold drinks etc. Check-in, boarding and immigration process can be told mostly hassle free.
I frequently travel by train but it was a very good experience travelling via Rajdhani Super Fast Express. Service provided by the railway dept was appreciable. Still they need to concentrate on the cleanliness. When, I travelled there was no water in toilet.
