Traveling by Rajdhani was awesome. Ya, it would be preferable to book train at least a month prior, though we did it a couple of weeks before and it was waiting. But thankfully till the end we managed to get it confirmed. I am a regular flight person so it was great to travel by train (offcourse everywhere flight doesn't go). Food service was good, train was clean and tidy.
The food available is not too great plus the quality of the bedding provided was not good. The journey by car would be better keeping in view the bad services provided in the train. But with small children it becomes a little tedious to travel by car but had the trains been cleaner and neater the journey would have been far better.
I took a non AC bus and it was great. The journey was very comfortable and service was superb. It was like a journey to heaven. The only advice I would like to give that be-aware of pickpocketers, thieves and frauds because there are too many fraud persons who are always looking for an innocent person and try to make him fool and some illegal money. So be aware of frauds!
I travelled with my two friends and most importantly there is no such good restaurant near Abu Road Station and the hotel charged high. There is no train from Abu Road to Udainagar and last bus departs to Udainagar at around 8 pm and bus departs for Abu Road bus stand (which is nearby Abu Road Railway Station) is from 6 am.
