I booked this flight because of itís timing as it leaves Delhi at 6:20 Pm and arrives Pune at 8:20 Pm. And you can easily get cabs around this time. Else the other flights reach by 9:30 Pm the there come issue of cabs and buses if you are travelling alone or for the first time.
Advice to the traveller would be to please check-in by 3:45 Pm at Delhi Airport as there is heavy congestion and security check consumes lots of you time. Then you then run and catch the flight. Coming to Pune Airport as this Airport is without bridge you need to walk into the Airport from plane. Flight was clean and journey was good. But the flight don't have the any TV/display as other carriers are having such as Air India, Jet Airways. It have paid meals. The flight was in time and had nice journey. Also the traffic on the roads was less.
The flight took off on time and landed on time. The cabin was absolutely clean, seats were comfortable (Seat 4A Flight AI849, 13/07/2015). Plenty of leg space at no extra cost!!!! In flight catering was prompt and meal was delicious and hygienic. Overall, experience was excellent.
I am a frequent traveller to Pune. Delhi Airport is too crowded now a days particularly in morning hours. Long queues, long waiting time, very slow security check-in. Another pain is removing laptop from bag and scanning in a tray, it causes lot of delay and is reason for slow security check-in.
I chose this flight because it suited my timings and the earlier also I travelled on it. This time there was this facility at the Airport of self check-in. I checked in and waited for the flight as I arrived early. I went to the WiFi zone and enjoyed free internet at the Airport. Also I went to food zone to take some eatables. Then I went at the luggage section and I asked them for aisle seat. Finally after a 2 hr flight I reached Pune and called a cab from Ola and reached the destination. Then I booked a hotel near my destination and checked-in. I enjoyed my stay and my journey of Pune. It was a great holiday.
It was a good flight with good cleanliness. Nice ambience and service was good. Services offered were chargeable but were good. Airport of New Delhi was awesome. But for Pune its was okay okay. Cost to the flight was good with good connectivity and good timings.
