I have been to Shirdi two times, first time I travelled direct to Shirdi by train in winter season. I took the train from Hazarat Nizamuddin to Manmad and from there by taxi to Shirdi. It is a very good place, as you know Sai Baba Temple is very famous now in whole India. The cafeteria of Shirdi is very good, the systematic darshan is fantastic and everything is managed properly for helping the tourist, whether it is darshan, entry, exit, shoes stand, prasad distribution etc.
Accommodation is very cheap there. Fruits, juices at very reasonable prices. We also visited Shani Shingnapur Temple just 60 km far from Shirdi by taxi. Taxi service is very good, comfortable and reasonable. After Shani Shingnapur Darshan, we visited Nashik Tryamabkeshwar Temple which is a tour of one day by taxi.
The best part of Shirdi tour is, you will completely be getting peace during your journey because of blessing of Sai baba.
Amazing experience as always, I visit Shirdi every year with family and the time taken by Air India Flight from Delhi to Aurangabad and returned next day evening. From Aurangabad Airport to Shirdi, overnight stay and then Shirdi to Aurangabad the next day via Shree Shani Shignapur darshan. AC IndiGo taxi costs 3500 all inclusive and got a very good deal on Air India return direct flight.
Good train even in the winters train is on time and we got the confirmed seats but when we booked that time it was on wait-list. But before departure we got the confirmed seats. We have a very good experience and wash-rooms are clean. Charger facility is also available on the train.
Took a flight from Delhi to Pune, and then a cab onwards to Shirdi. The flight experience was good and so was the journey via taxi to Shirdi, which took around 5 hours of travel time. Although for my next visit, went via Aurangabad, which takes almost half the time, and I would recommend going to Shirdi from Delhi via Aurangabad only.
My train journey was very much awesome and I enjoyed a lot and had lot of fun with my family. It's a beautiful place, Shirdi to visit and enjoy the peaceful trip and my heart got lot of peace there. The weather there was very pleasant and calming. The hotel rooms were very clean and tidy. Overall, I enjoyed the entire trip a lot.
