We choose to go by Go Airline as it offered us cheap tickets. Delhi airport has lot to offer. Can shop eat and roam around. Dont expect much from srinagar airport. Though flight was comfortable and clean. Staff was also courteous. Prices for online merchandise was overpriced. Food was decent. So overall a nice experience.
It was good, comfortable night train journey. But yes should travel only in A/C coach, otherwise it is not so great. Train arrival and departure is on time so that good. A/c coach toilets were fine. Food was also okay types, not much variety. Otherwise overall its fine in aspect to money. It's fine as I have traveled till Jammu for 4-5 times in same train so this seems fine until you are not looking for Shatabdi or Rajdhani.
I will tell you one thing about travel, I will suggest you to travel by road as many places are on the road neighbor on air travel. Air travel will be expensive and the road will lead you to all the best views on the way. New Delhi Airport and Srinagar Airport are both International Airports and there services are at its best. Services in the flight was also good.
Good Flight and service. Heard a lot about it that's why selected Jet airways. Airport service was also good, did not wait for longer time in Queue. In-flight service was complementary and was also good. Served hot and good quality food and ready to help.
At first choosing a flight to Srinagar doesn't seem much of an hassle considering the short travel time and multiple other flight options available with customers. I'd recommend Air India because not only do you have the freedom to opt for a hotel through Air India in case of floods or other calamities in and around Srinagar. But it also provides with necessary perks in case the flights get delayed. And hey it's the only flight that would help you getting out of it when others fail.
Services wise, it offers the complete Indian touch. So, if you are from out of India, you get the first feel of this beautiful and prospering nation with serene beauty in this flight itself.
And don't forget to take your winter clothing along because if you are from temperate climate zone, believe it or not it's still cold up there in Srinagar during summers.
On top of it, the scenic view of the earth below thrills you to the bottom.
