Distance from Bangalore: 282 KMs Road is in very good condition till Sakleshpura (arnd 4hrs drive). After that it gets a bit tricky to keep dodging the pot holes and oncoming Petrol Carriers. Remaining part of journey takes 1.5 to 2 Hrs. There is a cafe coffee day just after Kunigal (along with HP petrol bunk for top-up). Kamath Upachara (On the right hand side just before Chanrayapatna) is a good place for Lunch.

Kukke Shree!
Wake up as early as possible to avoid rush. Get into the que to get the Swamy Darshana peacefully. Other alternative is to stay late in the evening and you get your sweet time in front of the God!
