Hyderabad is always a spotlight for great places to visit, and this trip gave me the opportunity to travel and see with my own eyes, accompanied by my wife and daughter. We have boarded train at Mumbai Central Station at around 10 pm, Wadi Junction reached at 8:30 am and had good breakfast. Good co-passengers who kept us talking and spoke in Hindi, Telugu, English and showing pictures of their family. Day was not so sunny so it was a feel good journey.
It's a very fast train with average food. We can enjoy vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Service is good and journey can be completed within time. Secunderabad Station is very congested station. We feel very cold in the morning as temp in the train in AC compartment is maintained on lower side.
We booked Neeta multi-axle a/c sleeper bus. Bus arrived 1 hours late. It was frustrating experience to wait for the bus. But the ride quality was good and it was comfortable journey. However they charged around 2000 rupees in long weekend. Bus dropped us at around expected time so there was no delay as such. Overall good experience but they are not punctual for sure and operator also don't tell you upfront that it is getting late.
The train timing was very awkward, hence half the train was empty as people need good night’s sleep and train reaching Begumpet was early 4 am hence the train timing was an issue but due to which tickets available in plenty and no disturbance at all. Good food available enroute for veggies.
