Panchgani is a hill-station, so as soon as we have crossed Shirwal bus stop the cold wind starts to hit (depends if its winter) even in the summers the buses don't require an AC. The buses aren't that well-maintained but at the rate that they provide this service I still feel the service is pretty good.
I often travel via Neeta and I will always do as its not just me but the everyone agrees that Neeta is actually value for money. Comfortable seats, pickup time is accurate and drives you on time too. Entertainment on the go so that you don't get bored. Safe and smooth travel overall, I would give 4.5 stars out of 5.
This is one of my favourite destinations and I travelled from Pune. It's close and almost on the way to Mahabaleshwar. We took the family car for this and my friends wanted to stop by at Mapro for some fresh strawberries and milkshakes. These are not to be missed.
On reaching Panchgani, we visited a temple and had some fresh bhel and shopped a bit more. The weather is fantastic and I forgot to carry a jacket. Hence I kept freezing much to the amusement of my friends. Will definitely try and come back here once the rains start and maybe even stay. Soon it was time to head back.
The weather was awesome. It was raining like cats and dogs while we travelled to Panchgani. The sceneries and views were really breath taking. The atmosphere was equally breath taking. Itís all in all an awesome trip. Taking your own vehicle to this trip is highly recommended, since the road trip itself has a lot to enjoy about.
It was an awesome drive to Panchgani and is exactly 15 kilometers from Panchgani. We left by early morning eight and reached by noon. We stopped on the way and enjoyed the view. We took Satara highway turned from beneath the bridge at the Wai bypass and then straight to Panchgani.
