We visited this place on the month of January. We took Tampralipta Express, which has 1 AC Chair Car – which is quite comfortable. It takes 3 hours 20 mins and reaches at 10 AM, which is excellent as you have the remaining day to explore the beach. Other option is Kandari Express, which departs late afternoon. The bus connection is also excellent and there are Volvo coaches from Kolkata. The road travel is also quite good and it will take about 6 hours to reach.

You may get Bus from Esplanade either Govt Bus or Private Bus every half an hour gap.Volvo Bus services has introduced with AC facilities and it takes 3 hours times.I will advice everybody not to go in the deep water from the beach because due to under current it may cause danger & fatal also.
