Start early, beware of truck drivers and 2 wheelers, they do not adhere to any road rules. Plan your food breaks in advance as there are not many hotels that serve raw rice and most highway hotels offer Kerala boiled rice which non-Keralites cannot adjust, and while in resort instruct or request for sunflower oil as cooking base, else they use coconut oil as default cooking base for even noodles preparations.
