The best time to go is between October and April and staying inside the sanctuary in government rest house is the best option as that ensures even better opportunities to see wildlife at its best. Having a vehcile at your own disposal on hire is a good option, Basic medicines for fever, stomach upset etc are advised to carry along as the place is away from the city.
