I have been an extremely regular traveller from Surat to Mumbai and Mumbai to Surat. We have usually been a group of 3-4 people who used to travel together. Earlier the road was very bad so it used to take a long time to travel by road, and hence I used to generally travel by train. However, in the recent years the roads have improved a lot and some exciting travel companies have come on board.
I used this website onesidetaxi and they provided me excellent service. From the stage of the booking, to their call centre executive, to their cars and their drivers. Everything was perfect. I had originally booked a Sedan but since they did not have a sedan available at that time, they upgraded me to an Innova for free. The driver was also really friendly, and he also helped us with our luggage when we got down from the cab. This is a really professional service and I would highly recommend this to everyone.
We recently travelled from Surat to Mumbai Airport. We were travelling one way, so we were looking for discounted fare. Most of that taxi guys though were offering discounted rates but were not giving confirmation.
Then one of my friend recommended in Vadodara to try oneway cab service. He has used for taxi for Vadodara to Ahmedabad Airport. It was a one way trip. Well, they informed they have just launched this route. They have instant confirmation and that too at very discounted fare. Rs 3600 only. We paid toll tax of Rs 450.
I must say good taxi service if you are travelling one way from Surat to Mumbai.
I visited Mumbai via train i.e. Karnavati Express. The journey was very pleasant. The train provided memorable views during the journey. The train is clean so one can easily travel for long time. The toilets of the train are very clean so the passenger shall not have an issue. I had ordered food in the train and it was very tasty. The good thing about the train is that the train is not over crowded so one can easily travel. Overall a very good experience with the train.
Mumbai is located at a distance of 344 km from Surat. Surat, popularly known as ‘The Silk City’, is well-connected to Mumbai by road and rail. However, the best way to reach Surat from Mumbai is by train. The major stations covered are Surat, Borivali and Bandra Terminus in Mumbai. The journey can be completed in less than 4 hours.
