I suggest that you head direct to Kanyakumari, take a breather there for a few days and then visit to nearby places like Rameshwaram, Madurai, Thiruvanantapuram or even Kodaikanal. It can be arranged easily from the hotel itself or through travel agencies in abundunce at Kanyakumari.
