Since it is in the heart of the city, a rickshaw ride should cost you Rs 40/50. If you are travelling in your private vehicle, no problem. After temple, again you will have to travel 2 km to see the Palace, Sarswati Library (which has old maps and palm leaves - naadi shastra was written) and a museum which has beautiful bronze and other material sculptures. Some entrance fees are charged at the entrance of the palace but no entrance fees to see the temple.
