If you know to ride bikes, hire one. Much cheaper to travel around Goa. If you are a newie, better to go for Taxis. Goan people are good. So if you are travelling by bike, no problems. Even if you get lost, people will guide you. If you are going shopping at Anjuna Flea Market, bargain hard. They cater for the firangis more than you. You'll find that most of the foreigners coming to Goa are from Russia. Many shops and local people converse in Russian. You'll find Goa more of a Mini-Russia !!
