Local trains and buses available from Mangalore to Kollur. very conveneint and accessible. Kindly book rooms at Kollur before going. Trivikrama lodge were we stayed was quite comfortable and clean as the rooms were new.As we had food ant the temple,we did not have any problems regarding food,there is also a small restuarant near the temple for tea and tiffin.Very crowded in the week ends. So make during the week days for a peaceful darshan and a comfortable stay. Jai maamookambika !!!!!!!!!

Travel warning. ensure that your wake up the person at the counter and ask for the exact position of your coach. The person there gave us entirely opposite directions for our coach and we had to walk the whole length of the train. the trains stops for 1 min in this stop and the rest of the stations in this leg so changing will be difficult.
