Howard Plaza Reviews
It's a nice place to stay... Rooms are good But the view from that was very poor. May be it was because we went through a site... And paid a less amount comparatively the standard tariff... No welcome... It was a check in and a average stay... But overall your money won't go in vain.
The complimentary breakfast was provided in the hotel. The location of the hotel was very nice. The service was good in the hotel. The transportation facility was not provided at the hotel. The parking facility was available at the hotel. I went this hotel by my own vehicle.
It is a good hotel. Rooms were clean. Hotel staff was courteous and well-behaved. Food was decent. Located very close to Taj Mahal. Did not used other facilities like pool, spa, gym etc, so cannot comment. Overall, a good experience.
The hotel is good with nice pool and gym. Rooms looked a bit old though, but cleanliness kind of makes up for it! The breakfast was nicely spread. The check in and check out was very fast. All in all it is a good hotel to stay and worth the money.
Nice hotel as they guys are very polite and very helpful and suggest every one if anyone will want to go then you should book this hotel. This hotel is very near to TAJ and markets and also food quality also good..
Many services needs to be revamped. Why pool and gym closes at 8 P. M? Food varieties for breakfast is too less. Overall the stay is comfortable! Rooms were fine as well as the staff was very helpful, but few things in the room were not working properly, which at time becomes irritating.
Overall it was an amazing experience. The location of the hotel has few food joints which make it more worthy. In room dining is also very good. It's clearly a value for money with the amazing staff that has been recruited in every department.
Howard Plaza was a very nice place to stay in Agra at best price. Rooms were comfortable and cozy. The best part was swimming pool with an open shower. We spent 3 hours daily at pool. The breakfast was very good, variety was awesome. Buffet breakfast was a complete meal. Location was fab. 1 km from Taj. You can walk and reach Taj in 5 mins but pref....Read More

Howard Plaza is located close to Taj Mahal and the market place. It offers excellent facilities and services. The rooms are good, the ambiance is nice and the beds are comfortable. The food quality is good however it is priced high. The service in rooftop restaurant needs improvement and one has to ask for every little thing. They need to offer juices on menu card which was found missing. Overall a wonderful stay and is recommended.
The last part of our Delhi journey was a trip to Agra where we stayed in the Hotel Howard Plaza - The Fern. As soon as we entered the hotel, I realized that I would love my stay here and was really happy with my decision of paying a few extra hundred bucks to get a really great experience (we got a deal of Rs. 4500 for 2 nights for my family of 4, 2 adults and 2 small children, which would have been even better if goibibo had not delayed crediting my goCash). The room was spacious, the bed king sized, clean bed sheets and towels, and the room had a great seating arrangement with a sofa and a writing desk and an additional sitting area near the window of the hotel. There was a mini bar with 2 bottles of mineral water and a coffee/tea maker with complimentary tea bags, sugar sachets, etc to make tea/coffee. The decor and lighting was great, it had a separate area for storing luggage and a wardrobe. The air conditioner was great (it was a bit hot in Agra especially during the day and there was no fan provided in the room). The bathroom was neat and clean and there were toiletries available from biotique and lastly, there was a tub - my children got really delighted at the prospect of being able to play in the tub. There was no hot water coming in the tap - what was coming was warm water, not hot. And that was probably the only disappointment which we faced. On calling housekeeping, they sent someone to check (service was very slow, had to call again and the guy took his time coming) and he was not able to do anything satisfactory. The children were still able to play though not as long as they wanted as I didn't want them to stay long in the cool water. The next morning we had a filling breakfast in the restaurant which had a fairly good variety in the breakfast buffet. There were 8 different items apart from fruits, donuts, croissants, muffins, toast and a counter where the chef would serve whatever kind of egg you wanted. Before leaving for sightseeing, I complained at the front desk to the polite lady about the hot water and when we returned tired and exhausted after our day of sightseeing, we got what we wanted. A hot tub to soak away the tiredness. I really can't comment on the location because we booked a government approved non-AC cab service at the railway station itself, which charged us almost 2850 for 2 days of sightseeing plus almost 400 more which went by way of toll, parking charges at the various places, etc. The cab, which was not quite well maintained but it was spacious, dropped us off at the hotel and picked us up at the hotel in the mornings and then finally dropped us at the train station at the end of our trip. Apart from the breakfast buffet, we did not really get time to eat at the hotel, so can't comment on the food during other times. We also did not get a chance to use the pool or the spa and massage service (though the price seemed a bit too steep to us). We definitely had a really great time staying at the hotel and had almost made plans to stay another day just to laze away at the hotel. We would definitely recommend the hotel and would like to stay at the same place in the future.
Good Part: We were offered welcome drink when we reached. Hotel was clean. Rooms were clean. Location was good. Ambiance was also good. Bad Part: Rooms were not at all soundproof, We were getting lot of noise from neighbouring rooms. Exhaust fan was making too much noise and when we asked them about it they said all the rooms have same exhaust fans and this is how it is. Knob in the bathroom was broken and seems extremely old. Iron board provided was broken. With the Iron provided you can definitely have a shock during your stay. Food was really pathetic. Morning breakfast had same menu for both the days that too with continued pathetic taste. Paranthas were cold and with bad taste. Basic things like comb, dental kit were not provided until asked for. Terrace Grill (restaurant at terrace) was also tried. Didn't like the taste their as well. Very Limited options for vegetarians. Their Generator was in Swimming Pool area so you cannot have peace even at pool area. There is no other place in the Hotel to roam around to have your time. No Garden, No Lawn, nothing. Anything they provide in the room as mini-bar. Everything is chargeable. Nothing is complementary. Worst WIFI speed you can ever get. You would prefer using your 2G over that. Even after complaint, no-one came to rectify it. TV didn't work for half of the day but no apologies from the staff. I understand issue was from Tatasky side but they should compensate it as we have paid the hotel and not to Tatasky. BIG NO TO THIS HOTEL IN FUTURE.
This was my 2nd stay in this hotel, the first being in year 2008. The hotel is conveniently located on Fatehabad Road nearby to a lot of popular eateries. The check-in and check out were smooth and fast. The deluxe rooms were nice and average sized and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. The pool was clean and well maintained. There are separate men and women locker rooms for taking shower and changing clothes near the pool area. There are no lifeguards on duty, so please keep this in mind especially if you have kids swimming on their own. There are spa facilities available offering a wide range of services though I did not get a chance to use any service. The complimentary buffet breakfast is served in the Rendezvous restaurant and serves a wide variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian delicacies. You should not miss this meal. The restaurant staff is very courteous and goes that extra mile to ensure that you are happy with your meal. Overall, we had a great stay and had no complaints whatsoever. We will stay here again during our next trip to Agra.
Very good hotel. We all enjoyed. I have been there with my family including 18 months old son. The staffs have taken care to boil the bottle of the baby and to prepare less spicy food. It was a good experience. The location is very good and close to Taj Mahal. Buffet breakfast spread and dinner spread was also good. Only if in the dinner spread the hotel could add one more Non-veg item it would have been better for the Non Veg diners. Readily available local transport just outside the hotel.
