I stayed in this resort a part of a conference . The whole atmosphere made me feel that I went to my grandparents house along with all my cousins for family get together . It it was raining most of the time, there were not any activity - not even bullock cart ride into the village nearby . A blind man was playing nice songs in the lounge and during breakfast. Songs like "Raghupathy Ragava Rajaram" gave good vibes. During dinner time another troupe played old Hindi movie songs . The best thing is the food with lot of live items. Obbattus, rotis, mudde, pakodas, dosas of different types at different time. Not only coastal but also North and South Karnataka dishes were there in the menu . The owner came personally and met each one of us and promoted his palace (one of the costly suites of the resort) The head cook came and met us at the dining hall . We were welcomed with jasmine flower, turmeric and kumkum by friendly warm local girls in uniform . The conference hall and rooms were spread over many acres of land. The staff came with a big umbrella to make our stay as comfortable as possible. In the evening they fumigated the rooms to avoid mosquito . Apart from manicured garden, old trees (jack fruit tree) were also protected. Huge open banquet area is there like an amphitheater . . There are suites with Jacuzzi tub and big balconies. The palace has copper Bath tub and bin, brass lamp shades, marble inlay ed tables, spear shaped latches, fresh flower arranged beds, etc. See the photos for a visual tour - sorry no facility to add captions . Lot of old furniture were refurbished. Many furniture is sculpted like antics. Lot of wood sculptures were just dumped on the window sill and on a table . Except indoor games, gym, spa and pool could not be enjoyed due to rain.
We went by Hoysala Village Resort in the wake of stopping at Shravanbelagola. We were a family with children and elderly and were normally depleted from the 650 stairs move at the journey. The warm and extensive welcome at the resort was extremely reviving. The appreciated beverage, the new blooms and grinning confronts added to the appeal. We became hopelessly enamored with the spot and the individuals in first sight The property is perfectly kept up, the furniture is obsolescent and the entire feel of the spot is enrapturing. The sustenance spread was involved to oblige the changed taste buds of the visitors however you must attempt the credible beachfront cooking. The staff is neighborly and my children took a prompt jumping at the chance to them We had an awesome stay and it truly was the highlight of our outing They ought to be adulated for being so warm to the visitors and making their stay noteworthy. General the stay was great and a pleasurable one. I would profoundly prescribe this for a weekend stay, far from quiet shrubbery of the city Sustenance was great. We ate and breakfast for 5 individuals. What's more, the aggregate we paid was just Rs. 1200! Everything was new and flavorful. Great spot to stay for individuals who don't need to shed that additional buck and are minimal tight on spending plan. Whole property is secured with diverse colorful blossoms all around Area is a major huge point of preference. You climb by most accounts 100 meters from the lodging and you're on the Mall Road. Indeed, even the taxi stand is at a Mobile separation Will unquestionably visit once more!
Any long weekend in Bangalore and families start looking out for destinations to explore esp if it kid's vacation time. So we found ourselves in the same situation1st May 2015 long weekend, son's vacation and not left many choices as most of the hill stations were overbooked. Then one colleague suggested this 'Hoysala Village Resort'. We checked with them and booked Suite room for 2 nights. We reached the resort around 12. 00 p. M. And were welcomed by a courteous staff. They applied vermilion on our forehead and gave marigold garlands. Property is well maintained and we headed to our rooms after the payment formalities. They have good greenery on the resort and good open space for recreation. Our Suite room was spacious and well kept. However they could improvise on the bathroom All the meals are included in the package and the spread is really good. Especially the live counter where they serve authentic Karnataka cuisine. We simply loved the taste of the all dishes served in the live counter. Restaurant staff was courteous. They even had live music played during Dinner which added to the ambience. One attraction of the resort is the Live Performance which is held in the evenings. We thoroughly enjoyed the traditional dance by local artists and Bharatnatyam by school kids. I terms of amenities they have couple of indoor games and a small library too. We did not like the pool much as it was much smaller than expected. Overall experience in the resort was awesome. We enjoyed the trip despite hot weather. I strongly recommend this resort to fellow travellers.
