I visited this place early also but this time I booked Swiss tent in this complex. Location is excellent. Tents were also surprisingly very good though not expected. Other facility like swimming pool, food etc. Was the issue. Good for rough and tough people. Not good for honeymooners.

I stayed in Manali for three days, of that two days I spend in Log huts I already booked there long back. The locations is little far away from the city center, either depend a cab or auto to reach there, itself lost the charm of stay. We were a family of four with my wife and two school going kids. I expected a posh stay, in fact the ambiance is suitable for a honeymoon couple rather than a small family like us. The front office was excellent and very helpful, the rooms were wooden appearance with somewhat unique, but there is a clear cut sarkari touch for everything, that was little annoying as the amount you spend was little in higher than a posh hotel anywhere in Manali.

There were not much activities except for a camp fire, that itself they charge Rs 500/- extra for logs. There is nothing complimentary, no food, no drinks, everything you will get by paying. Still the food was too good.

There were two rooms with good and spacious bathrooms and a kitchen with halls in the hut, facility of cooking was there, but who will take the headache while in travel? The taps in the kitchen were little scary as bit old and rusty. Still if you are a recently married couples, I like to prefer this as it gives ample privacy and good feel. Otherwise better to choose any hotels nearby the mall road or bus stand in the Manali. Have a pleasant stay.

Last year myself with my family and a friend with his family visited Manali. A place of natural beauty. During my stay it was so cold, and ice everywhere, even below the hotel beside river. We enjoyed our stay there. Hotel situation is nice. But the behaviour of few staff including the receptionist was painful to us. Hope they might improved their behaviour by this time.

Hptdc Log Huts are the best if planning with family of four or 6 persons. Complete peace of mind with absolutely no disturbance.
The entries woody floor and room will give you a real feel of staying in Mountain. The only little drawback is that you need to walk on steep roads if you want to have morning stroll which will give one a closest feel with Deodars.

The location of the hotel was convenient to approach. The hotel had provided a parking facility. The surrounding of the hotel was clean and tidy. The interior and exterior appearance of the hotel was well decorated. The staffs at the hotel were kind and active. There was no delayed in check in and checkout procedure. The room allocated to me was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. All the amenities like AC, TV, geyser and refrigerator were functioning properly. The hot and cold water facility was provided by the hotel. The laundry service was there at the hotel. The Wi-Fi facility was provided by the hotel. The bed sheets, pillows and blankets were kept neat and cleaned. I was not able to see any special view from my balcony. The food facility was good in taste and the price was affordable. There were variety of food was served at the hotel. The activities were not organized by the hotel. I would recommend this hotel for other travellers.

The view from the hotel was excellent and was surrounded by mountains covered with snow. The rooms had 2 family size bedrooms with attached bathrooms. One dining and one kitchen. Outside there is a fire place with 2 swings. Ambience was very good. We needed extra bed. The staff provided that too. Staff were very helpful.

I had a bad experience in the hotel. The hotel was situated far from the market. There was not much sufficient staff present in the hotel. I did not face any difficulty while check-in and check-out procedure. The room was spacious. I felt that the hotel was a bit costly. I also had an issue with the hot water. The hotel did not provide us the hot water on demand. I had gone there with my family. I did not find any activity in the hotel. The hotel should reduce its price little bit.

Hotel was very easy to locate. Location of the hotel was very good. Behaviour of the staff was friendly. Appearance wise, it was excellent. Room allotted was neat and clean. Food was excellent. Veg food was very good. AC, TV, geyser or everything was working properly. Room was like a cottage with two bedrooms, hall, one kitchen and one dining hall. It was very convenient to stay there with 4 people. View was visible from the room. Whole Manali was visible from there. Food was little bit expensive but food quality was very good. It was governed by HPTDC. Check-in and check-out was on time. No activity was there. The person who loves the nature they can stay there. I liked the place Manali. It is value for money. I would like to recommend it to other travellers and I wish to go there again. They should include either breakfast or dinner in their package. It was a family trip and we enjoyed there a lot. I visited there in May 2012.

The overall stay was excellent. Visited the hotel in the car. Car parking facility was not available. Room was spacious and maintained, neat and clean. There was a good view outside of the window. Staff were professional and behaved well in the manner. Services were excellent. God, which was served, was good and the quality of the food was OK. There was no delay in check in and check out. Swimming pool and gym was not available. Will recommend it to others. No sightseeing has been arranged by Hotel Management. Satisfied with the services provided.
