Hyderabad food, sight-seeing and shopping options
This is definately not for the ones looking for the typical touristy thing or a shoppers paradise. There is only the resort with basic good clean AC rooms and the fantastic sea and beach. Chill with an even chilled beer intercepting it with sumptuous andhra preparation of fish, prawn, crabs et all....hot spicy food with chilled beer on the sea side....I wouldn't ask for more. The more adventurous types can go on long walks by the sea or venture into the surrounding fishing village or better still the wilderness by the seaside. When in the restaurant, stick to the local andhra preparations...thats what they make best....great spicy hot curries, hot sambar, rasam and not to miss the array of chutneys!!!

Hotel Review of ITC Hotel Kakatiya Sheraton & Towers
Comments: 1. Whenever I see the checkout bill it states that I will receive a feedback on my email id, but till date I never received it for any of my stay.
2. When I stayed last time on 5th Oct 2006, I had some guests and they sat in sofa in front of elevator on 11th floor, and on centre table there was a fruit basket; my guests started eating the fruits. Suddenly a manager passing by saw it and shouted at the nearest employee instructing him to remove the fruit basket in a loud harsh tone, the fruit basket was promptly removed. Later on we found that the above fruits were meant for their CMD who was throwing a party in adjacent suite.

As the fruit basket was lying around, my guests who were exhausted at the end of a long day started eating it. It is a natural human instinct. The fruits like banana/apples cost 1 Re / 2 Rs (less than U.S 1cent). The actual cost is peanuts; a good management must realize they spend lakhs for promotion. What should have been done is charged to my room @ hotel tariff rather than removing it and causing embarrassment and insult. On second thoughts, it should not be charged. It was lying unattended for more than 1/2 hour, and was placed as if it was kept for guests. Nowadays 5 star hotels are throwing in lots of add-ons; this one just seemed like one. Needless to mention I paid a bill of Rs.34000 (USD 756) for TWO days and I could have paid another Rs.200/-(USD 4.4)

Hotel Review of ITC Hotel Kakatiya Sheraton & Towers
I was pleasently surprised when i entered the hotel lobby.The hotel has avery bright and clean feel to it.The rooms are very well maintained and comfortable.They have 3 resteaurents including a seperate bar lounge.And all of them provided a very good meal.The only issue which they should improve upon is the inflexibilty of their front desk....
