Kediyoor hotel Reviews

I had visited Udipi this March and stayed in Kediyoor Hotel from 16th to 18th March, 2001 after staying 2 days in Summer Park Hotel as we personally preferred the location of this hotel to that of Summer Park. Kediyoor Hotel is a very vast property comprising of huge number of rooms, 7 or 8 very large Party Halls, A.C. and Non-A.C. vegetarian and A.C. Non-vegetarian Restaurants, vast car parking space, etc! During our stay we had seen several family and office/business (Rotary Udipi, etc.) parties were being arranged in those Halls.

Best Experience: According to me, the locational advantage of Kediyoor Hotel is its main plus point to those who would like to stay near some shops/malls or avail the local transport. But in spite of this the area surrounding the hotel is not so congested as Udipi is not so big or busy town. The restaurants serve very delicious variety of foods and meals and the service is prompt and courteous unlike some other hotels where one can get only fewer number of items and the service also is not so prompt like this hotel.

Worst Experience: The service and proper attention to the rooms and inmates were, as I had found somewhat lacking probably due to their vast establishment where they might be used to give less interest for the common guests staying in their standard non-A.C. rooms unlike some other nearby smaller hotels who usually take due and every care of their most common guests! Also, this hotel being a very busy one, did not bother to book or note down my request over phone for booking a room nor they gave their bank account details to deposit the booking money! Only I could get a room there as there were vacant rooms left.

stayed in jan 2011,location is very convenient,clean,very polite and business-like staff,separate vegetarian restaurant,definitely recommended for families.

very peaceful atmosphere.room quite spacious. staff non-intrusive and helpful. good room service and great food. value for money!
