Jungle Greens Home Stay Reviews

I stayed at the Estate Villa at Jungle Greens, with my family. The location was stunning with a 180 degree view of the forest. We had a nice quiet vacation, with long walks in the plantations and playing badminton/cricket etc in the front yard, which is huge. We had an attendant who helped with any small/big thing we needed. The facilities are good. No pretense at sphistication like the star hotels but everything you need is right there. The food was excellent, with a fair amount of variety. The host family extened us excellent hospitality. They arranged for a new year party for all the guests on the 31st, with no extra expense to any of us. The front and back yard of the estate villa can be developed - trees, plants and some grass would make the place even better. Hammocks would be ideal for lazing and gazing at the wonderful forest and the birds.

Best Experience: The long walks in the plantations with my family were great stress busters. My little daughter went crazy after the ripe red coffee beans and I had to stop her from plucking to prevent serious losses to the owners :-).

It was true to the concept of home stay, with very near to nature we did not miss our home too as the hosts were wonderful and had great fun too..

Excellent!! yes, thats the word I would like to use. Overall a great break from the hectic city life. The place is perfect on a nature\'s lap and the surroundings are breathtaking. Some of the places should not be missed. Just pack your bags and enjoy a pleasant trip to the heights where you can talk to the clouds while being one of them. We stayed in the Estate Villa at Jungle Greens, which consists on 2 BR a living room etc. The cost may be a little steep but it depends on what you are weighing your privacy against? If you are a family or just friends who wants to hang out without being bothered.. then this is the place. The hosts also offer dormitory and other row type bedrooms with common living room and dining rooms which is much more affordable.

Best Experience: Bhadra Wild Life Sanctuary - A wonderful reserve forest without much of vehicular moment and looks like a rain forest which offers some nice sightseeing of animals such as Deers, Porcupine, Snakes, Elephants, a wide range of birds etc. If you are lucky you may see a Tiger too because this reserve also hosts \'Save Tiger\' project. Valley View: This is where you will get to talk to the clouds, can be reached only through a 4x4 drive vehicle, this place offers tranquility and peace. Just be there to see the valleys touching the skies and indulge in inner talk with yourself Rocks: This was our last in the itinerary. A worth going 4x4 drive. This sure will amaze you on the capability of a Mahindra Jeep!! go there to climb a rock supposedly one of the highest peaks. A breathtaking view 360 degrees of open skies!

Excellent hospitality. Typical 4*4 experience. Very friendly people. Amazing food. Healthy & refreshing atmosphire - rich in oxygen. Surely a must experience weekend destination. Pretty well maintained rooms, however, as it was raining 24*7 during my visit - moving in and out used to make the floor messy. Apart from that this is paradise.

Best Experience: Calm and peaceful enviromnent, almost like staying in a dence forest with rich greenary around. Within minutes after reaching the location, I started feeling fresh and lively. With friendly people around and uncompromising food - I would say every moment of my visit was worth it.
