"Excellent place for nature-lovers who..."

Best Experience: Great people, Daniel has very good experience as a guide, and it clearly shows. We were lucky to spot a leopard and a tusker in an evening trip. The Bamboo Hut was great, a different experience. I believe the treehouses would be even cooler!
Worst Experience: None.

"We had a relaxing weekend..."

Best Experience: Having a cocktail by the bonfire in a chilly night and sharing wildlife sighting experiences with fellow guests.
Worst Experience: The deluxe room offered to us was a let down. It looked like an unfinished one and that too with a tin roof. We had a look at other cottages and they very really good. Not fair on the part of resort to pass on this unfinished cottage.

Best Experience: There are many aspects that are very good about the place. - Undoubtedly, the swimming pool. The pool is located at the foot of the hills and overlooks a range of hilltops. It's really a gorgeous sight. Even though the place is cold and breezy, it's worth taking a dip in this stunning pool, for the view. - There are many deers within the Jungle retreat campus. We woke up one morning and there was a herd of deer right in front of our porch and it was a great feeling. Kids just loved it. - Cottages are widely spread within an area of 10 acres giving a sense of privacy to all.
Worst Experience: There were no 'worst' experience. But, we were expecting that there would be some trekking in the forest or hill. Due to an untoward experience of a French lady being killed by a wild elephant in the recent past (not in Jungle Retreat but in the same forest range), they had stopped trekking activities, which was a disappointment for us. The swimming pool has a rough finish (to give a feeling on natural pool) and a bruise here and there is not avoidable.
