Five Hills Hotel Reviews

I went to Five Hills resort in Feb 2012 and stayed for 1 night. Though a MTDC resort, I could not book it via their official site. Site always crashed :( so I booked it via www.mshwar.com. They have good customer service and charge moderately. It cost me 1920 Rs for 1 night stay including all meals(1550 for resort+remaining taxes). Good for off season price. Overall the resort experience was good. They have very good location(walking distance from market and table land). Surroundings are calm and peaceful. Staff is good. Food is good (but veg only :)). Rooms are specious and clean. They also have play area for kids. If you have kids with you, they will have good time in play area and with ducks.

Best Experience: If you want to buy strawberries from Panchgani try to explore farms nearby. You will get it cheaper than market price. If you want to explore adventurous side of you try paragliding at panchgani. There is one operator "Joy Ride" who has office on walking distance from resort. It costs 1500 bucks per person but experience is worth it.

Worst Experience: Didn't find any.

MTDC resort located in good calm area. Hotel is big, Rooms are value for money if paid 750 in off season but definately not worth paying 2500 in season. Hotel provides only veg and non veg thali, do not have ala carte menu. But food was good. Its if you are acconpaning child as they have ducks and few birds within premices

Best Experience: Value for money, good food but on expensive side.

The resort is near to the main market (15 mins walk from the resort). The resort provides \'Suite\' which is primarily 2 rooms adjacent together. This was useful since I had gone with family and my Parents. However, there was only 1 bathroom and 1 TV. Rooms and bathroom were of Economy range but clean. Restaurant food was good though breakfast is expensive.

Best Experience: I was pleasantly surprised to see Birds and Ducks in the resort. These were surely a hit with my 18 months daughter.

Worst Experience: New towels and soaps were not provided on the second day of the stay.

The hotel was near market and the state transport bus stop. It was a nice and peaceful place .

Worst Experience: They can provide a collapsible cot with the mattress they provide for the additional child staying in the room.
