I had a night over at this hotel which is quite close to the airport. The hotel is nice, offers good buffet and comfortable rooms, little small though. They didn't have a pool when I visited but the bar was nice. The location is nice too, not too far from the hotel and offers metro connectivity to the city
The overall experience was very good. We stayed the hotel in the month of August. It was a holiday trip with family. There was only some problem in WiFi facilities. The city was very because of its climate. The location of the hotel was good and far from city. The ambience of the hotel was very good and was attractive. The front office and booking services were very good. There were no much services provided by the hotel. There were no restaurant was available in the hotel. The rooms that were provided were excellent and were well maintained. There were no pick up and drop services that were provided by the hotel. There were no activities provided by the hotel.
I had booked ITC WelcomHotel Dwarka when I had been to New Delhi during the month of December 2016. It was my business trip with alone. My travel destination was average. My hotel location was very good because of transportation facility. The appearance of the hotel was average. The staff at the reception was average. I booked this room directly at hotel. The services which were provided in the hotel were good with quick response. Rooms which we stayed in were good with facilities and hygiene. The hotel food was very good because price is very comfortable with more varieties.
At night we checked inn. As per hotel because of only 1 staff they took 2 hours to change a bed sheet(dirty). We had to follow up 15 times just to change the bed sheet. Very bad service. You will get other good hotel in this budget.
Hotel needs a face lift, big hotel but in poor condition. Even though hotel is fairly new work inside is not finished, looks tacky and dirty. I was disappointed with this hotel, will not come back. Hotel prices of food and service is overrated. Staff were generally good and friendly.
I had been to this hotel for a one day stay and the entire experience was good. The hotel had good option for shopping. Food was excellent and service was also good. The hotel was next to metro and so very convenient too. The airport was about 15 minute away.
Had booked three nights through Goibibo and expected a great experience as this is an ITC group hotel. Right from Check-in process, the impression was lost as the guy on the reception desk did not even have the courtesy to wish or greet me. After a very unwelcoming check-in, I was given a nonsmoking room which had a very strong cigarette smell upon entering. It was so strong that I was feeling very uncomfortable inside. I tried to reach the housekeeping through the intercom and there was no one to pick the call on the other side. It kept on ringing and after a persistent effort, I was assured that an attendant would come. After a long wait, one gentleman came with a room fresher and sprayed it all around suppressing the odour. I was expecting a change in the room, but I just had to put on with the odour . Later during the room cleaning, my personal slippers were missing and I was told that the housekeeping staff had taken it accidentally and I had to wait 2 days to get it back just before my check-out. Apart from all this, I also found that there were no floor towels kept in the room and the cleanliness of the bedding was also not up to the standards. The breakfast was okay, but the service was not very satisfactory. I even enrolled in the ClubITC loyalty programme expecting to continue my relationship with the ITC group, but this experience has been very unpleasant. Finally during check-out I wanted to register a formal complain and asked for a feedback form, but I was given a blank white sheet which shows that there is no inclination from the management to listen to customers . On the positive side, the "Ghar ka khana" thali for dinner was very good though a touch expensive. The location is also very comfortable with proximity to the airport and metro connectivity . All in all, a very disappointing experience and would definitely avoid further stays here.
A business trip to the Capital. Hotel located in Dwarka, one of the residential areas of Delhi. Located at a reasonable distance from the airport. A good experience with the staff who had been very cooperative and helpful. Has a good restaurant with different options and tasty food. Hotel located away from the crowd and heavy traffic. Has a good night view outside from the top floors.
I visited this hotel when I came to New Delhi with my family. The facility provided by the hotel was just mind blowing at this lowest price. The hotel was very beautifully decorated. The room of the hotel was also nice and clean. The room service provided by the hotel was also great. Fooding of this hotel is like a five star restaurant and the staff of the hotel was also humble and also ready to help. So, I recommend others to visit this superb hotel when they came to New Delhi and also must taste the fooding of this hotel.
I visited this hotel when I came to New Delhi. The hotel was beautifully decorated and designed. The hotel was located near the Metro station as well as near the main market. The room of the hotel was clean and tidy. The staff of the hotel was also very helpful. The room service was just excellent. Food was also amazing specially the tea. So, friends you must visit this hotel when you came to New Delhi.
We had gone to this hotel for celebrating our anniversary. The hotel was quite good with candle light diner it was awesome. The hotel staff was quite helpful and the food quality was okay. The rooms were spacious and were well done. The hotel is quite in the residential area and nearby couple of shopping brands available.
My stay at ITC Welcom Hotel Dwarka for 2 months was made memorable with friendly hosts, which made me feel at home. My wife visited me for few days and it was a relaxing experience for her, while I was busy with work during the day. What makes this hotel special, I would say the care and effort their staff go through to ensure hassle-free stay. I would like to mention Dechen in particular who went out her way to help us when needed and also put us through to the right people in the hotel and not to forget, helped me plan my wife's 30th birthday at the hotel. She also explained a bit about 'Eastern India' - Sikkim in particular. We wish to visit Sikkim one day and I am sure she would help us plan our trip and stay over there a memorable one too. I also had the opportunity to try out the signature restaurants - Bukhara, where we had the unforgettable 'Bukhara Naan'. The Awadhi cuisine of 'Dum Pukht' and of course the regulars like Pavilion, the Gourmet Shop etc. I tried the salon, gym and several of the hotel facilities - every place I went. I was provided with the comfort. My breakfast was customized and few of my choices were well remembered by the staff. My mother who came to visit me for a couple of days had a rejuvenating experience from her stress filled professional life.
I went there with my family in June 2013. Overall, my experience in this hotel was very good. It was a relax kind of holiday. As a destination, it is a very good place to go. Location of the hotel was very good. Appearance wise, it was also very good. I booked my room online. Check-in and check-out procedure was excellent. Service staff was also excellent. Room was spacious, neat and clean. Basic amenities such as AC, TV or everything were available in the room. Room was very good. I tried only veg. Food there and it was very good. Activity part was average.
The hotel is located at very quiet place which is good for relaxing and unwinding from city life, but the staff were Horrible! We confirmed hundred times to the booking staff for early check-in I. E, by 12 noon 22nd Nov 2015 instead of 2 pm then and then only we would be booking the rooms, as we were tired and sleepless and my mother was already unwell, after assurance from the reservation department and getting confirmation that two rooms were available and ready for us, we booked it and they sent the prepaid hotel taxi to pick us from Delhi airport by 11 am which meant they knew we would be reaching the hotel within 30 minutes, so they would have done their homework. But, when we reached hotel at 12 o'clock we were shocked that no one. From front desk came to help us. Instead they kept us waiting in the sun for 2 long hours without even asking for water, forget about welcome drink. What a pathetic hospitality. Every time we patiently inquired reason for the delay, they would not at all respond. Instead they would say we will attend to you shortly. We had already briefed them that we started at 2 am from Pune on 22nd Nov 2015 to reach Mumbai airport early and we were all restless, but the front desk guys didn't respond well and we got our rooms at 2:30 pm after waiting for two and half hours in the scorching sun. To make the matter worst when we protested to the front desk executive that we would like to complain his unkind and unapologetic conduct with his boss, the hotel manager. We were shocked to see that the fellow near the desk chit chatting for past 2 hours with a guest and avoiding us ,. Was none other than the manager himself who was more shameless than his peers !!! When we asked him why was he not helping us resolving our issue rather than chit chatting and having personal conversation with a guest, with very unkind words he remorselessly said check-in time is 2 pm, he can't change that for us, but when we interrogated him that then why were we given this false assurance in the very beginning that we can. Do early check-in? He said it's not his problem. Rude and arrogant manager. Still we couldn't fathom this fact !. Icing on the topping was his answer, when we asked him to get his General Manager to talk to us, he with his blank face pointed that he is the whole and sole and General Manager is not there, but we insisted stating that WelcomHotel Dwarka is by ITC group which is well organized Company. There has to be General Manager or the General Manager of the whole ITC group but in vain. As we were very tired, restless, sleepless, didn't even had food and my parents condition was worsening, we couldn't escalate further. They assured us the moment General Manager is around they will make him speak to us, but like the false promise in the very beginning ,. This also turned out to be a hoax. We checked out next morning for the other hotel instead. Now regarding the room service, it's again the same thing - irresponsible. We asked for extra bed as it was triple occupancy and. By 3 pm it was confirmed to us by the booking staff that extra bed will be put up in Room No. 1009 in half an hour, but it wasn't till the very end when we checked out next day. Very very poor services.
It's a nice property with large rooms. We stayed here last year in November for 2 days. Overall stay was very pleasant. The food they offer is also good and have lot of varieties in Breakfast and Dinner. The location of the hotel is also excellent and it's very close to Airport as well. There is shopping centre as the basement of the hotel where you can spend some time also. Overall I will recommend this hotel to everyone looking for nice place to stay in New Delhi.
