We are planning to visit Auli at the end of September (last
week). Could anyone tell me-
1) what the weather will
be like - is there likely to be much snow? (at least to play
around).
2)We're planning to travel from Rishikesh and
understand its a 10hr road journey. If we're hiring a car to
take us there, is there a place (before reaching Joshimath)
that we can stay for the night, and then proceed to Auli the
next morning?

we(in couple) have planed to go to mussorie the day after
tomorrow. I mean we will reach there on 6th July 2008.
Kindly let me know that is it considered as a peak season
for Mussorie? Is is costly period to stay in Mussorie for
two nights? Is there probablity of much crowed this time?
can we get a hotel in the range between-500-700/ night this
time. kindly inform and share knowledge immediately. if this
would not be a favourable time for me due to peak season to
go there then we will postpon this trip for some monts.

Hello,
I am planning a trip to Corbett and
Nainital in Oct or Nov. I am pretty sure about going to
Corbett however not too sure about Nainital. Is it a nice
place to visit? Are there any better places. I am looking
for a place with good views, nice options for light trekking
and basicaly not too touristy.
