Indus Valley Resort Reviews
Not a 3 star resort. But a budget hotel. Poor food. Poorly located. Bad roads. But in this budget not bad at all .. I recommend this hotel to those who want to stay long with less expense. Overall in 1000 rupees room and breakfast is not bad at all .
Poor infrastructure. Not maintained properly food is pathetic service is slow. Toilet is unclean beedshet and towel are unwashed and used by multiple guest without washing. Staff is unprofessional. Road is also very bad.
Nice stay for 1 night enjoy with my friend. Good food. Great service. Good amenities. Nice room service. Problems were resolved ASAP. Good for relaxation and getaway's. A little far away from station but close to expressway.
They should improve in their breakfast and see to it that all the customers get hot items not the cold once and also they should improve the taste of masala papad and also see to it that the butter applied to the roti is proper.
Nice big room. Good view but poor service. No good food. No cleanliness, no cooperation from the respective person. No Wi-Fi in the room it's OK to be there if you want to be aloon but rest it's and untidy place facilities are like five star but not a worth two star also.
Had booked 3 rooms and requested rooms next to each other however the resort runs only few units in the entire complex. Pool was good, AC and TV worked fine however not all lighting worked in the room. Worth for a budgeted short trip with friends who are not too particular about cleanliness.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The worst hotel I have ever been to was a very bad experience. The service is very bad staff was least concerned was untidy very arrogant and don't have manner to talk. The hotel manager is not so friendly. The room service is terrible. Doesn’t have a remote for AC. There is a bathtub but there is not sto....Read More
Don't expect too much. Rooms are good but not great. They haven't maintained the rooms well. You will be accompanied by cockroaches. Swimming pool is small and cute. In short it is good for a day trip.
Excellent comfortable big rooms. Refrigerator, TV, AC everything working good. Room services also good. You can relax in swimming pool too. Only drawback is morning complementary breakfast. Its pathetic. Need to be improved. The location also easily accessible. Value for money hotel.
Decent stay. In medium budget... Neat clean and big rooms... Good service. A little away from the highway... Good to chill and relax... Pleasant experience in all. Just accessing the hotel is little difficult but otherwise good.

The location : Its near the Valvan area which is slightly far from Lonavala. It is quite close to National Highway 4. Front Office : During our visit, a guy called Feroze was in charge at the front desk. We arrived around 12:45 am and were asked to wait for about 20 minutes in spite of the check in time being 12 : 00 am, the excuse being the guests hadn't checked out. The check out time is 10:00 am and apparently guests hadn't checked out till 12:30 This guy Feroze acted quite like he owned the place and wasn't humble in conversations. The Room : The pics posted by users are quite accurate. All the rooms are just as shown, spacious and decent infrastructure but the hygiene is quite lacking. The bed sheets and towels have stains all over them. Food and Drinks : They have a small separate restaurant which offers buffet during dinner and breakfast and a-la-carte during lunch. The taste is strictly ok. I had ordered some chicken dishes but the pieces had less flesh and more bones. The buffet spread during dinner generally has 2 main course veg dishes and daal with some salad and a complementary sweet. Facilities : They have a swimming pool which is cleaned occasionally but the water never seemed to be clean, it always had a shade of green and a feel of being muddy. Also, there are some indoor games available like Table Tennis and Carom. Summary : The Good : Room design is decent. Hotel Compound is good. The not so bad : Location Food Cost with deals The Bad : Hygiene Management Far from main market and you ll have to travel some distance if you want to buy anything Overall, during Season, I would recommend this hotel to be a decent deal for around 1500 - 2000 and off season, a reasonable price would be 1000-1300
Indus Valley Resort is very near to wax museum as well as to shooting point. Near by mean of within 2-3 kms from above two points. External look is very good as well as service and room interior too. There is a very nice and well- maintained swimming pool too. Enjoyed a lot with table tennis and carom at night. Worth to book.
Excellent service in the hotel, food was fabulous, rooms are also good. The only improvement required is road condition outside the hotel.. For family outing the hotel worth.
Purpose:- Weekend getaway with friends. Amenities:- The room was clean. Amenities included refrigerator, AC, LCD TV, Geyser and most important- continuos water supply. No complaints at all. Service:- Service offered was average. It didn't affect our stay as our interaction with staff was limited. None of the staff were in uniform, which was bit of a downside, considering the expectations you have seeing the decently maintained property. Pool was clean with fresh water. Table tennis and carom were the games available for guests. Food:- Not good at all. Breakfast was included in our plan and it was not at all worth eating. Idli were hard and looked stale while sambhar looked too watery thin, which tasted nothing like authentic sambhar. Same was the case with tea or coffee. Though we did not try any other meals at the hotel, the unfinished breakfast was enough. Advice to Travellers:- Consider outside food arrangements. Conclusion:- Despite the disappoint over food, the hotel is a good place for your weekend stays. I would consider Indus Valley in future.
Beautiful place, far from the noisy market place, good view from the room. Very beautiful and scenic. TV, AC and other amenities in good condition. Memorable holiday at Indus Valley Resort. Bathroom was clean and neat with all basic amenities. Food was awesome with Jain food was available. Kithen people cooked Jain food for just our family as normal food was with onions and potatoes.
