Irpu Falls, also known as Irupu Falls or Lakshmana Tirtha Falls, is situated in the Brahmagiri Mountain Range. This fresh waterfall drops from a height of 60 m and is a major tourist attraction in the region. Lakshmana Tirtha Falls merges with the Lakshmana Tirtha River, which in turn joins the Cauvery River.
The waterfall that is situated at a distance of 20 km from Nagarhole National Park, mainly originates from Brahmagiri Wildlife Sanctuary. This waterfall can be ideally seen during the monsoon months, when it is at full power and offers a beautiful sight.
