It was Like Visiting HISTORY. The Resedency, The Imamwada. The Bhool Bhulaya, Very Nice experience. many of the old buildings reminds us of MOGUL ERA. sHOPING is a very much a ladies beloved JOB enjoyed purchase of CHIKAn fabrics. Many nice food joints . Lovely experience WALKING on M G Road. like a Europien City.

This is a hotel with an impressive past reputation,but unfortunately, the present level of service and amenities does not match its reputation.We have stayed twice here in the recent past ( December 09 and December 10 ), but both times we were disappointed.They economise on small things,like tea bags ( provide only two inthe room;if you need more you have to request),towels.bathroom toiletries,etc. At breakfast time ,the hot items are not replenished, and a feedback to the managers is met with a long explanation and a grudging redressal.This is not what you expect in a 5-star hotel.

Best Experience: The travel desk provided courteous and efficient service.

Worst Experience: The fact that we had to ask for tea bags--and were told that they supply only two per day--was bad enough. And on both mornings of our stay, we found that fresh items at the buffet breakfast (like parathas,or poories) were not replenished promptly.
