"It was a lovely experience..."

It was a lovely experience overall. The worst part is we had to return early because we had kid of two years.

Best Experience: The Resort is really marvelous and a near perfect place for Nature Lovers.

Worst Experience: My worst experience is with the Executive who advised us it was suitable for infant and children. But let me tell you, it is not safe to carry a child specially in monsoon, since the place is very open and chances of accidents are high for infants and kids. The Weather will also affect the child\'s health.

"It was an..."

It was an overall a very different experience staying at this destination and the resort. We were a group of 6 and thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Wildernest. Different as earlier I mentioned because normally there is a destination and you have to choose from the list of resorts you would like to stay in. Here there is a destination created by the resort itself. No television anywhere in the resort, no market places anywhere, no food joints around. You are totally cut off from the external world. Your resort and the surrounding natural beauty is the only thing that will be with you till you at this place. The mobile network was (sadly) working there but apart from that there was nothing close to a city life or rather I should say even nothing close to a tourist destination. I would love to keep going to this resort once every 2 yrs but only if I am in a group of at least 6-8 people. The place is so secluded and lonely place that a person like me would like to have buddies around. And for people who love solace and peace, people who just love to gaze at the nature for hours, and for people who love to read a book sitting all day, this place is a heaven on earth.

Best Experience: The highlights of the place:- 1) All wood used in the making of the resort. Rooms, restaurant and any area that you can think about is made of wood, 2) Rooms are situated in such a manner that no room is visible from the other room, 3) All rooms have glass on 3 sides. So when curtains are opened it gives a feel that one is sitting in the green itself, 4) All food prepared is very homely and with their natural colors intact. You won’t get to see those reddish and strong colors in the vegetables, 5) Most stunning view from the swimming pool. One side of the pool opens in a valley. It feels like water is stopped in the air. 6) Service from the staff is very pleasant. Staff is very well mannered and ready to always help. 7) Be ready for different types of insects in and around resort and also in rooms.

"Wildernest is an awesome jungle..."

Wildernest is an awesome jungle resort..a great place to unwind on a weekend....it had much more than what we expected! The entire place has been given a rustic wooden look to give you a feel of the jungle life. The cottages are well hidden on the slopes and have an unbeievable view of the valleys.

Best Experience: The best part was undoubtedly the swimming pool which seemed like God\'s own pool - straight out of heaven! It gives you an amazing view of the sunset over the green valleys. The food consisted of vast spreads of very palatable home style meals. The staff is very helpful and take care of all that you need.

Worst Experience: None
