It was just a gr8 experienc, thanks to all who made a gr8 trip

M C Resort!!! Gosh I am actually nostalgic &out of words to describe this place. It is situated hardly 30 mts from the Bandipur main gate. It has a very beautiful rustic feeling to it. So those looking for things like SPA, crowds,howling kids and lack of privacy can avoid this place. This is strictly for nature lovers. People those who like to wake up & sleep listening to the chirping of birds,calls of wolves, jackals,deer and trumpet of the elephants. There is complete privacy and unlike other resorts there are not much people around so you have the resort all to yourself. We had booked the room for Rs 2000 per head and trust me each and every paise paid off. Details: ME and My buddies booked 3 rooms and paid an advance of Rs 2100 only. We pre-poned our plan and started friday night at 12 pm and reached M C Resort at 5.30am saturday morning. The staff at the reception counter got up @ 5.30am to allot us our room(gosh he didn't even complain that we had arrived before time). . At 6.30 am we went for the Safari ride,came back form the ride at around 8.45 am and after freshening up we had a sumptuous breakfast at 9.00am. No hotel or restaurant can match there food standard ,it's simply finger licking. After having our breakfast we headed for the pool .The pool was extremely clean and there was very less chlorine in it. Then we went for a nap and were woken up by the staff at 3 pm to have our lunch. After the food session we went to the Himavad Gopalaswamy Betta temple. It was long winding ride up the hill but was very exciting. After coming back form there we had a good sports session playing volley ball,table tennis,cricket and our very oldie hide and seek :P. Then at 6.00pm we were served Tea/Coffee/snacks. Then we went for a walk round the resort and on the road adjoining it. At 8.30pm the staff invited us for the bonfire and there we were our very own jingle party. There was no music,nothing fancy,yet there was something enrapturing and vivid. The cool breeze and the warmth form the bonfire,along with the call of the animals and the view of the starry sky ,truly mad e it an outstanding experience. Later in the night we were served dinner and then it was light off for us. Next day,i.e, Sunday we were woken up at 6 am and served Tea/Coffee ,we then started for our nature trek at 7am and it went well over for 1.30hrs. We did catch the sight of wild deer, heard the trumpet of elephant and it all felt very over-whelming. We got back and were served breakfast. At 11 am we checked out. PROS: 1-It has the highest privacy. 2-Very caring and attentive staff. 3-Amazing food. 4-Comfortable bed. 5-Very close to nature. 6-Great value for money. 7-Great place for nature lovers. Cons:(for some people) 1-Doesn't has a SPA(Dude who needs it) 2- Not crowded(not a great place for wannabe's) ..Can't think of anything more. This is the only place which didn't give me a chance to complain and crib. The STAFF--hats off to you guys,you are the most courteous and caring employees I have met so far. The chef-you do know how to cook a meal,amazing job. Do meet Mr Swamy,he was one of our attendants. Man the quickest service so far. My BEST EXPERIENCE SO FAR. I love you M C RESORT.Thank you.

Best Experience: -They give you whatever and whenever you want certain things. Ask for a cup of tea and lo and behold max 5 mins to serve it. -The attendants are very caring,courteous and full of patience(gosh we were literally monkeying round & they had no probs). - Very,very,very helpful.

Worst Experience: No worst experience,but a SPA would have done it( am just saying)

MC Resort is one of the best options to stay near Bandipur,this resort very close to forest.The rooms and overall service is good.The Rooms and accommodation facility in MC resorts is really great. The Rooms are fully furnished with all the necessity and it is a place with offers you a great shy of relief and you feel stress free and peaceful in this wildlife area. In short there is no harm to visit such cool places. I love to visit it again. we did'nt get any hot water problem,we got good hot water in bathroom.But hot water timings is 5-30am to 10-00am.

Best Experience: Service is too good,good food,Swimming pool is very clean and neat and excellent.

Worst Experience: Nothing

I found one of the most affordable packages for Bandipur at MC Resorts through Holiday IQ. The resort is one of the closest to the forest. The staff is quite friendly and are prompt with their service. The room was nothing great, but it was neat and clean, and that's what matters. The food was simple, but delicious! They seem to have a tie-up with Jungle Lodges, as their safari vehicle came to pick us up. The safari was for 2.5 hours and they go quite deep into the jungle.

Best Experience: Food was really good! And staff were friendly.

Worst Experience: The only negative was the lack of hot water. Not sure if it was a problem with only our room or with others too.
