Ita Fort

Ita Fort, located in Papum Pare, is one of the most important historical sites in the region. This fort was built in the 14th or the 15th century by the rulers of the Ahom Dynasty. Around 80 lakh bricks were used to build this fort in 46,300 days. This fort has three different entrances in the western, eastern and southern directions.
