Its a nice palace, but feels a little let down as the other side is more posh hotel Laxmi vilas so fels second grade living on another side of the palace.

Best Experience: Heritage feel is good till the time you consider the building/Palace only. Upkeep too is good. Food quality is very good, but exhorbidently priced. Appears very attractive place.

Worst Experience: There was hardly any cultural activity. No interest by guests. Dance Performers were least interested to impress & it was just for one day. There was no other activity or effort by hotel to organise traditional events & involve the visitors. Worse than this, was the extremely high price of food & very low quantity. If you do not earn in dollars, you might end up eating outside or sleep with unfilled stomach.
