Its a nice place. Although the staff\'s over eagnerss to please the foreigners at the cost of the Indian\'s is annoying though. The best part is the adjoining bird sanctury, and the Lakeside. Just grab a book in the afternoon, and go and sit on one of the benches on the lakeside. You would not feel as if u are there in the middle of a Hot Summer afternoon in Kerala.

Best Experience: The overnight Houseboat experience is a must have. Not to be missed at any cost. Although houseboats can be had from outside the hotel but they will come with their own pro;s and cons.

Worst Experience: The preference of foreigners over the Indians is the most annoying thing. Also the hotel charges a lot on food, which is at the best mediocre.

Overall a pleasent stay; the choice of veg food was not great; service at restaurant was slow and gave the impression that many members of the staff were trainees. The staff are very cordial. The layout and the the architecture was very good with great privacy for each cottage. Pricing is steep

Best Experience: The speed boat ride across the lake was exciting. The sunset cruise was very pleasent.

Worst Experience: Usually, the food was delivered after afairly long wait though the staff were apologetic about it.

One of the best destination I have ever been to. The Taj propoerty here has their own private lagoon. The whole property iss so beutifully done. So much to do out here for all ages. From swimming, boating, fishing, child activity centre, pottery, bird watching, and many more activities, you could do whatever you want. The whole place is so peaceful and in the night the entire property is lit up by small diyas make it such a romantic places.

Best Experience: We took the whole day / night cruise to Allepey, the backwaters and stayed on the boat in the middle of nowhere during the night. The whole experience cannot be expressed in words. This place is a must see for all the travellers who are looking for an exciting holiday.

Worst Experience: Nona at all.

We had a magnificent time in this resort. We spent five days at the resort, and were charmed by the extremely warm and friendly staff, the river, the lake and the slow pace of the resort. It was of course hot in May, but the pool and lake were available to always cool you down.

Best Experience: Water-skiing, sunset cruise, backwater boat-ride, outdoor shower, plunge pool.

Worst Experience: Children\'s bicycles were not working - kids got a bit frustrated. Also, resort is a bit small with one main restaurant (and another grill) - so food gets a bit boring.

Overall Experience was good. Good hospitality, excellent room service.

Best Experience: Best experience was that of the room service in Kovalam. We were on our Honeymoon Package and they decorated our Bed twice everyday with flowers and also not to forget a cake to celebrate the ocasssion.

Worst Experience: Worst experience was that with the front desk or booking office. We had booked Taj Holiday Package from their Helpdesk for 3 locations in Kerela and had to pay alump sum amount for the package, he receptionist refused to understand that and created a big scence at the time of check out, billing us only for our stay at Kovalam and not understanding that it\'s a package deal for (kovalam, kumarkonam and Thekkady), we were ready to pay the whole amount for the package too, but she refused to understand. It sorted out with a call to Mumbai office and payment for the entire package.
