I had been to this hotel in the month of January 2017 with my husband for holiday trip. The destination was excellent as everything was good at this place. Location of this hotel was excellent since it was located conveniently hence there was no difficulty in reaching the hotel. The appearance of the hotel was excellent because it was well maintained. It was a package booking. The booking and front office was excellent since they were very friendly. The services given by the staff were excellent since they were attentive and helpful. The room was excellent as it was maintained well, spacious, good interior with required amenities in good condition. Food at this hotel was excellent since the taste and quality was good. I suggest this hotel to other travellers. The overall experience was excellent at this hotel.
I had been there in the month of January it was a holiday trip with my family. The destination was very good. The location of the hotel was excellent. The look of the hotel was very nice clean it was excellent. There was candle light dinner the food was also excellent. The staff's was awesome. The rooms were very good. The rooms had bathroom air conditioner the basic amenities were available and all working properly. The breakfast was also provided but was very good. But I didn't like that curry part as the food was of that area. WiFi services were not available. Some of the things like they make food which you like there were fishes available you buy and give them they would cook it for you.
Visited in August 2014 for my honeymoon and booked premium houseboat. The houseboat is maintained with 3 well maintained AC rooms. They also offer non AC and semi luxury (AC only during night) but I would recommend not to go for them. It gets really humid in the day and AC is a necessity than a luxury The waters are clean and I was lucky to have another two couples from Maharastra (my place). The food served was a typical thali but delicious. He offered us Maharashtrian kanda bhaji for snacks and the candle light dinner was lovely and my wife loved it They park the boat in the evening across the village and we can go around in small boats nearby. We actually loved rowing those small boats. The charged 500 rs per couple. You can buy the fish of your choice and they cook it for you for no extra charge Owner gave us a small gift for memory and entire staff was courteous. One thing to note is carry mosquito repellent like odomos if you plan to roam around village in evenings, nights. They run TV on limited times in the night but you wont need it. Another point is the choice of food is not yours. They have a planned menu but its good, simple and delicious. One should not miss the scenic beauty of backwaters with coconut trees on the two sides of shore and the calm clean flowing water all along.
The location was too good and Kerala was very beautiful. The hotel location was little inside as the people were unable to help in locating the hotel. The surrounding of the hotel was good. The hotel was away from the city. The Hotel had special food served. The appearance of the boat was very neat and spacious. The TV geyser was in working condition. There was no view seen through the boat house. The food was very fresh and too good. The food had a limited menu. The staff were very friendly and courteous. The overall the destination was beautiful. The tariff was quite expensive, but it was comfortable. There was some traditional dance as an activity in the boat house. It was value for money and recommend this hotel for other travelers. Suggestions are tariff must be more economical . .
It was my first, but memorable experience of house boat voyage. The entire run though river surrounded by lust green forest, plantation & natural beauty. Villages & facilities located at both sides of banks. Decorated houseboats riding together in the rivers. The food served was simple Kerala food, but was tasty. Staff were courteous & well mannered. Cleanliness of houseboat room & linens can further attract the tourist. Overall experience was excellent.
