I booked a comfort room for a family between 27th and 30th December, 2013. Very nice location, away from hustle and bustle of the city. Very calm and peaceful place like an old world charm, Yet very near( 2/3 km to zoo and palace. Autos are easily available. There is a small grocery store opposite to the hotel where you can get mineral water bottles, tooth paste and other day to day use stuff. There is an ATM as well besides the hotel. The view from the room is okay as there are apartments around. You could also see garbage but then it's in the heart of city near few residential apartments so can't expect much. We stayed in a comfort room on the second floor. The room was excellent, looked very new. An extra mattress was required for my second child even then the room was not feeling cramped. The bathroom did not have comb (who use it anyway) rest everything was in place. It's more of a business-boutique class hotel so don't expect any recreational activities or kids play area. Apart from spacious cupboard and desk there was a safety locker also available. Food was absolutely delicious. We tried lunch and dinner as well apart from the complimentary breakfast. While the menu remains the same the variety of food was enough. North Indian dishes and starters all were excellent. Price was very reasonable as compared with the taste. The food did not burn at all in the stomach. No burgers and pizzas in the menu. We are vegetarians and teetotaller. Complimentary breakfast was also good. They had different menu every day with bread and dosas were available on request. However, it's not very clear what all things were available on request apart from the buffet spread. So double check with the attendant there. Service was very prompt, courteous and efficient. We had few glitches in the room which were fixed within ten minutes of arrival. We used laundry service and the clothes were returned on the same day evening. Restaurant has a waiting time for 15-20 minutes but the food is worth the wait. There is a travel desk called Travelz Park in the neighbourhood hotel premises. They provide good and prompt service as well though a tad expensive. A special mention for the GM Mr. Venkatesh Sharma. He's been very nice, friendly and helpful. Kids mingled with him very easily. He was prompt in providing assistance and personally helped in arranging transport for the onward journey at a very reasonable rate. Overall, it's a nice boutique hotel worth every penny spent. I would definitely want to stay there if I am visiting Mysore next time. Room Tip: Suites and corner room have better view
I planned a small 2 day trip to Mysore during the Dusshera weekend this October and chose to stay at Hotel Jade Garden. Being my wife's birthday, I was thinking of having a candle light dinner on roof-top restaurant and Venkatesh (Manager of Hotel Jade Garden) made my wish come true with no hassle. He took care of all the arrangement and gave me a nice isolated corner place at their rooftop restaurant with Chamundi Hills view. Couldn't have been a better end to the day The hotel is located in a prime location, easily accessible from all the major tourist places in Mysore. Also once you are inside the room, it is so calm and silent that you would forget all the stress specially, if you are travelling from a busy life of Bangalore. The comfort room does stand to its name. Also, the staff is highly courteous and always there to help you like if you want to check-out when you aren't at hotel, you can request the staff and they will check-out on behalf of you I would recommend this to all the couples and families who would like to have a pleasant stay in Mysore. Like I said, worth every penny! :)
The purpose is for the trip to Mysore for vacation and relax. I found out about Jade Garden through Google search. The reception staff were very helpful with my reservation and were accommodative, so that I could make advance payment on arrival rather than earlier. The service was top notch. The room was excellent for this tariff. The location is in a very peaceful area. Highly cleaned rooms. I had a wonderful two day stay at Jade Garden and would highly recommend people to try this place which is not very far from city centre and attractions. If alone or couple, comfort room is spacious and neat enough. Stayed February 2015, travelled with family . .
This a really good hotel for stay with family. It is located in the city but away from the maddening traffic and crowd . . The rooms are really well maintained and comfortable. There are two types of rooms Comfort and suite. Comfort is good for a small family and Suites are spacious with wooden flooring. The room which we stayed is a Comfort room and had a comfortable stay. The service was really good and the food served prompt and tasty. Room service is also good. We had issues with AC spreading in the room and we asked for a table fan which was arranged in minutes The buffet breakfast is also good and had nice variety, One nice thing about the hotel is they are meeting it neatly and maintaining their standards more than what is required Travel from Railway station to hotel is around 2 KM, please take the pre-paid auto from the Railway station or bus station and it would not cost more than 30-40 rs
